MICRO WEDDING ON ISLE OF LEWIS.
KIM & JAMIE, ISLE OF LEWIS, 9 OCT 2020.
The exceptionally lovely Kim & Jamie got married on their home-isle of Lewis in October 2020; making sure their "Covid-safe" wedding day was just as magical as it was supposed to be, face masks or not!
They gathered their 20 guests at Uig Lodge to turn the celebrations into a long weekend (which we highly recommend doing!) and meant they could show off their regular dog-walking haunt (the insanely beautiful Uig beach) to their family and friends, as the couple had only recently moved to the Outer Hebrides. Their dog Harris was also a big part of their day, featuring heavily in the photos and video, and even being the ring bearer in a custom made tartan collar!
We got to work alongside the lovely Rona Burstow - a celebrant with the Humanist Society Scotland, who was so lovely and friendly and provided the perfect intimate ceremony. It was also a pleasure to work alongside Margaret Soraya (known for her Landscape photography - it is completely amazing!) who captured Kim & Jamie in the place they love so dearly, so well.
Kim & Jamie were really laid back about their wedding day, meaning their relaxed vibes totally rubbed off on their guests and everyone had a ball. We also think they're going to adjust extremely well to that Hebridean way of life - Sláinte to many happy years together!
Oh. My. Word. You guys! Honestly words can't describe how much we LOVE these videos. Thank you so so much!
The detail that you've picked up is absolutely incredible. We love the drone shots, so many amazing clips of Harris (dog) and our guests, the music from Alessa (guest playing fiddle) is absolutely perfect for the teaser. I also particularly love the sound of the waves mixed in with her playing; it's so peaceful and enchanting. We couldn't dream of anything more, we really appreciate all you've done.
